Schrank II

A cordial welcome to the Website of SLUB’s project The Instrumental Music of the Dresden Hofkapelle at the Time of the Saxon-Polish Union. Inventory, Digitization and Online Presentation. The project was funded by the DFG (German Research Foundation) and completed in the summer of 2011.The resulting digital collection encompasses the extant instrumental works from the first half of the eighteenth century which were kept in the so-called Schrank II (Cabinet II) of the Dresden Court Church, and which to a large extent came from the legacy of Concert Master Johann Georg Pisendel. In order to facilitate your resesearch, please use the Complete Schrank II List ordered according to the original shelf and position numbers (Excel-file as of December 21, 2012). All of them are linked to the digital versions.
